Restorative class with bolsters and blankets

Case study · Intensive

Restorative Weekend Intensive.

A Friday-night to Saturday-evening immersion in restorative yoga. Quiet music, dim light, deep release. Stillpoint runs this twice a year (March + October) - March 2026 sold out four weeks early.

What this was

Friday-Saturday immersion · 14 students · $185

The Restorative Weekend Intensive is a 14-hour immersion across two days. Friday 6–9 PM is a long opening practice - a single 90-minute restorative class taught at half-speed, followed by tea and a guided pranayama session. Saturday 9 AM–6 PM is the main program: anatomy of the connective tissue, the theory of held postures and their effects on the parasympathetic nervous system, three long restorative practices (90, 75, and 60 minutes), and a Saturday-night silent dinner of soup and bread eaten on the floor together. Each intensive is capped at 14 students.

The agenda

How the time was spent.

An alumni voice

I came because I was sleeping four hours a night. By Saturday morning I'd slept seven and a half. I didn't know yoga could do that. I've been to every Aria sound bath since.
